Q: Does MH/OSTA help anyone who lives in a manufactured home?
 A: MH/OSTA helps people who own a manufactured or mobile home and rent space for that home in any of Oregon's manufactured home parks.
Q: What about someone who owns a manufactured home in a subdivision or on private land?
 A: People who live in a subdivision or rent space on private land also fall under different law. A manufactured home park is defined by law as having four or more rented spaces. 

Frequent Questions

Q: What about someone who rents both their manufactured home and space in a park?
 A: People who live in manufactured homes but rent both the home and space are considered 'renters' by law. They need to contact Community Alliance of Tenants for assistance at 503-288-0130.
Q: Does an RV owner in an RV park have the same rights as a MH park homeowner?
 A: No. RV owners in RV parks only have the basic rights that apartment renters have.
